Sunday School: (9:45AM – 10:45AM) In Sunday School we have a fun, friendly, Bible-centered class for every age group during which the teachers and helpers help make Faith Baptist Church a place your children will want to be every week. All of the children’s ministries at Faith Baptist Church in Elizabeth City are for the purpose of Reaching Children For Christ.
Children’s Church:
After Sunday School, adults and teens are in the auditorium for the morning service and there is a fun, friendly, and Bible-centered service staffed with friendly, well-qualified teachers and helpers who will help make church not only exciting and memorable, but spiritually uplifting for your child.
Children’s Choir: Ephesians 5:19 says “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs…” First through sixth grade children’s choir practice songs to sing in church and for events like cantatas and special days. Fill your child’s ‘music memory’ with Biblical, spiritually uplifting music!
Master Clubs: is for 3 year old’s through the sixth grade and meets for Rally Time every Wednesday evening at 6:45PM. After rally time there are Bible centered lessons, activities and game time where the focus is on evangelism, discipleship and spiritual growth. As a result, children learn Biblical truth and how to serve Jesus Christ in their daily lives. Finally there are multiple opportunities for them to serve in the local church.
Kid’s Krusade: In August we have our annual Kid’s Krusade with a theme centered around the Word of God. You can expect singing, skits, puppets, lessons at separate grade levels, snack, team competition. A favorite part of Kids Krusade is “Let’s Make A Deal”. Check the Church Calendar for date and time. Our Goal at Kids Krusade is Reaching Children For Christ, 4 years of age through sixth grade.
Note from the Pastor: Most definitely bring your children for Sunday School every week. The youngest ones can be well cared for in the Nursery, Adults and Teens have their own class and activities.
