TEEN MINISTRY Faith Baptist cares about teens. Today’s youth have many challenges and temptations in front of them, continually being encouraged to challenge authority and to “be their own person”. Many times parents are at a loss as to what to do, who to ask and where to go next. Our goal is to assist parents in raising spiritually minded youth who will become spiritually mature adults for the furtherance of the Gospel. Teens are encouraged to use their talents as the Lord leads in the Music Ministry, Children’s Ministry Visitation and other areas. Our activities are not designed to entertain but to educate and reinforce the work that should already be happening in the home. We can not take the place of parents in training their children to serve the Lord, rather we are simply a tool to assist families in working toward Christ-likeness in the life of their teen.
Through the many activities (including Sunday School, summer camp, road trips, after-glows, conferences and exciting events) teens are challenged in their personal walk with Christ, developing a burden for the lost, and growing in fellowship with others. Teens play a vital part in the Church. Many teens take on a role as mentor’s for the younger children. Our teaching and preaching are centered on pointing teens to the sufficiency of the Word of God for every need in their lives. Come and join us as together we work in pointing teens to Christ and encouraging them to follow the Lord.
